Day 5- No video today

January 22, 2011 Leave a comment

Hi There,

It’s nearing the end of day 5 and I wanted to keep you posted. I threw 12 pitches straight into a strike zone on a wall and after that only missed once in a while. My knees are really hurting with the combination of squats, burpees and running and my arms and chest appear to be getting a little bigger with the 75 or so dumbell bench presses, lat pulldowns, and chest flies. Diet’s still tough. I need to work on planning my meals better the day before because I tweak the diet to my liking, trying to keep the nutritional values same. I’m still cheating a little by adding a few crackers and some walnuts (I guess that’s healthy) with very small amounts of chocolate. I don’t think I’m going to get through this without cheating occasionally. But, I’m stll unsure if I need to do the diet because I don’t really need to lose weight. Will keep you posted.

Day 3 with NEW DIET!

January 20, 2011 Leave a comment

Sorry for the late post. Will be back on track tomorrow morning. My pitches are getting more accurate every day, so whoo-hoo!

I was cranky from the old diet so this 40-30-30 thing is helping out. It’s still fairly restrictive but I’m not sure if I need to stick to the calorie limits because I’m not trying to really lose weight. If you know the 40-30-30 or baseball player diets, please post a comment to help me out.

Day 2

It’s getting painful. I’m slipping up on the diet, but I am following the directive to eat a salad before lunch and dinner, then you can have whatever you want.

I just saw a JSerra baseball yearbook and it made me feel very uncomfortable. Just there to remind me that i need to keep going. I have posted the video of the song that I’ve been playing to myself every day, a few times a day to help me feel less anxious.

My last weekend of FUN!

January 15, 2011 Leave a comment

This weekend, I am eating all the great, delicious food I can before Doing As The Halos Do. I’m barely training and I’m having a blast.

Too bad that on Monday, I’m going to have to start a week long juice fast and start training 2 hours a day, then run 6 miles. If you’re wondering, the juice fast will be the worst part of this as I am used to working out and running long distances since I have been successful in Track, Cross Country and Basketball.

Again, this is not information “from the team”, it is data that is publicly available from people that MIGHT, just might be associated with the Halos. I’m not sure if this is what Angels players do but it does makes sense to me.

If you want, call 347-308-8922 and support me tomorrow at 2pm PST on my Internet radio show, The Greyson Nation. To listen, click here.

Welcome to Do As The Halos Do!

January 2, 2011 1 comment

Hi there, my name is Greyson C. Peltier and I am ADDICTED to the Angels. Pretty obvious from the title of this blog, right? I am a regular on The Sports Lodge on KLAA 830 AM, host of my own Internet talk show, The Greyson Nation and I want to Do As The Halos Do. How? WHY?!? Let me explain. I have been an Angels fan since I was 11 years old (I’m 14.) and I was not into sports prior. At 11, I wanted to leap into Little League with little training and decided not to until this past winter of 2010 when I thought I had trained myself properly. I was given a major wake up call by the coach who convinced my mother to force me to resign. I cried for days, thinking about what was next for my life. Baseball was my passion, how could I have let this happen? I had just about given up until God sent me a message in November and all the way through Christmas and up to now that convinced me to keep going and make another attempt before 16, when I could try no more. The message was clear and made sense; If you want to be like an Angel, why not do as they do? Of course, I do not expect to play baseball professionally at any point in my life, beings that I’m only starting now and I have Aspergers Syndrome aka Crazy Stupid Genius Disease. But, I do want to play baseball at a fairly high caliber. Along with the message, God made signs poining to a possible training methodology potentially used by some Angels players, maybe. You can see I have doubts about this data because it is derived from mostly circumstantial evidence and comes from a somewhat untrustworthy source. But something is pulling me towards it and it seems fairly valid to the best of my judgement, but I cannot and will not make any representations about this being something Angels players use. I can only say, legally, that if I was an Angels player this would make sense for me to use. Nothing more, nothing less.

This year, my new year’s resolution is to follow this plan that fell in my lap so to speak and follow it to the T, and hopefully get good at baseball. Maybe if I get good enough following the “plan of the pros,” maybe I’ll go for high school ball. I will be starting this plan this week on my show linked above, so be sure to tune in Sunday at 2pm.

In service of the Rally Monkey,

Greyson Peltier
